About The Course
Selby Golf Club is a beautiful par 71 course, built on sand-based, well-drained land, making the course playable all year round. Its tree-lined fairways are well-bunkered with an abundance of gorse and natural hazards. We are the regular host of Scratch County matches, LDUGC events and YUGC fixtures.
Described as a true hidden gem, Selby Golf Club is a much-understated course, providing a challenging but fair test of ability. The 18th par 5 is reputed to be one of the best finishing holes in the country.
The Club has a long tradition of welcoming guests to enjoy the course. The Club offers a full complement of superb facilities. Fully equipped practice area, with large putting green, practice chipping greens and a large driving range which includes six covered bays.
We are a first-class society venue, offering a well-stocked and equally well-staffed bar and catering department. Visit Selby Golf Club and you will be assured of a warm welcome and a great day out.

The Clubhouse
Our clubhouse offers a comfortable and friendly atmosphere in its two bars. The “19th hole” is an informal relaxed place to enjoy a drink and bar snack after your round, while the Lounge and Dining Room offer a more formal environment which is also air-conditioned. Both of our bars are open to all members and guests.
In recent years the dress code at the club has been relaxed, except for designated formal occasions and certain specific times. Contact the secretary/manager for full details
The clubhouse also has a snooker room with two well-maintained, full-size snooker tables. There is a very active snooker section at the club and during the winter months the team snooker league is a well-supported evening activity.
Well-equipped changing rooms with showers and towels are available to both gentlemen and ladies. The gentlemen’s shower facilities have recently been fully refurbished
