The Course
Brailsford is a deceptively challenging test of golf. Ranging from difficult par 3’s in the form of the picturesque tree enclosed 4th and the 8th over water to several around 400 yard par 4’s and a par 5 dog-leg 9th, testing even the most gifted golfer.
The par 70 red course at just over 5,000 yards, is used by the lady members and is also ideally suited to junior golfers or beginners. The yellow course, at around 5,500 yards is extremely popular for senior golfers as well as being ideal for junior progression and golf societies.
For those wanting a shorter form of the game without losing any of the enjoyment or the test of skill required then the 12-hole layout is ideal, taking just under three hours.
The full 18-hole experience is a true test of golf. Utilising different tee positions for six of the holes, which as a result means holes can vary as much as 80 yards in length.
