On the Course Dress Code
Smart golf wear should be worn on the golf course at all times.
Denim or denim-like wear is not permitted nor are track suits, trainers, sun-tops (ladies), shirts without collar or sleeves (men) or football shirts.
The wearing of trousers inside socks is not permitted unless they are specifically designed for this purpose (Plus 2s etc).
All shirts must be tucked into trousers at all times.
Tailored shorts and sport/golf socks are allowed on the course and in the clubhouse up to 7pm.

The first clubhouse was a cottage with a thatched roof on Cornwall Avenue, a more permanent arrangement ensued with the building of the clubhouse at 62 Cornwall Avenue until a move to its present home in 1928. The old clubhouse is still in existence and used as a Deaf Institute, with its north facing elevation originally opening up onto the 18th green.
With further funding in place the erection of the present day clubhouse which opened in in July of 1928 shortly after the new course opened in 1927.
Clubhouse Dress Code
The wearing of caps or trainers is not permitted in the clubhouse.
The dress code for the clubhouse has been relaxed so that smart jeans may be worn. This does not include torn or frayed jeans.
In the Clubhouse, smart casual dress is acceptable throughout the week. The dress code for functions will be notified on the publicity material for each event.
